Luke’s journey into carpentry is powered by a deep passion for working with his hands. With a desire to cultivate a diverse skill set and engage in meaningful projects, he has dedicated five years to the construction industry, continually honing his craft. His expertise is particularly evident in the renovations he has undertaken, transforming buildings and giving them renewed life.

Throughout his career, Luke has faced numerous challenges, viewing each project as an opportunity to overcome obstacles. By trusting established processes and collaborating with his team, he finds that solutions come naturally. One of his favourite tools is the laser level, appreciated for its precision—a fundamental aspect of successful carpentry.

At Keystone Construction, Luke enjoys the camaraderie he shares with his colleagues. Collaborating on innovative projects creates a supportive environment where creativity and teamwork flourish. He emphasises the importance of math skills in carpentry, noting that a solid understanding of math is crucial for planning and executing projects effectively.

Outside of work, Luke embraces adventure through activities like dirt biking, mountain biking, surfing, and walking his dog and spending time with his family. He cherishes time spent outdoors and bonding over free trade breakfasts with colleagues.

A unique aspect of Luke that his co-workers may not know is his middle name: Buster. He reflects on the best advice he has received—to “grow up,” reminding him to embrace maturity while maintaining a sense of humour.
