Charlie has always been drawn to an active lifestyle, complemented by a passion for working with his hands. This enthusiasm naturally led him to a career in carpentry, where he enjoys the dynamic challenges and problem-solving that come with each day. With two and a half years of apprenticeship experience, Charlie has embraced the rewards the construction industry offers.

One of his standout projects was the expansive Queenscliff build, which allowed him to engage in every phase of construction—from framing and Structural steel production to cladding and finishing touches. It was during this project that he honed his skills and developed a particular fondness for the complexities of timber framing, eagerly utilising his favourite tools, like nail guns and saws.

Charlie’s commitment to quality craftsmanship is apparent in every job he tackles. He takes pride in sourcing high-quality materials, ensuring that each project reflects the team’s hard work and dedication. The most gratifying moments for him come after completing a project, when he and his team can admire their tangible results.

At Keystone Construction, Charlie appreciates the organised approach to projects, believing that efficiency is key to getting things right the first time. Outside work, he loves spending time in nature through camping, fishing, and surfing, which helps him recharge.

While he enjoys carpentry, Charlie occasionally dreams of a career that allows him to travel within the industry, fulfilling his adventurous spirit. As a fun fact, he’s always up for spontaneous outdoor challenges.
